“The decision to blacklist Israel and accuse us of using sexual violence as a weapon of war is an outrageous decision,” Danon said.
“The secretary-general and his team continue to spread lies against Israel. To put us and Hamas terrorists on the same list, that’s unacceptable.”
Who are they even saying this stuff to at this point? We all have access to an absolute shitload of evidence and testimony, and for quite a while now.
It’s like when someone tries to gaslight another person online, as if no one can see the entire thread up to that point.
Much of the political world is afflicted with blindness in that spot.
That blindness is ending I believe, but way too slowly. Slower than at what pace Israel’s regime & military are getting worse.
The people who believe saying anything bad about the Israeli government is antisemitic because they’re taught they can’t separate the fascist leaning government from the people they govern and somehow they believe it.
I wish we still lived in a world where the UN was an institution (if not authority) recognized by the whole world.
