I’m not sure Anthony Gordon is as good as he thinks he is. Let’s see how this plays out.
He’s been linked to big clubs for a while, despite being limited IMO. Maybe there’s something about him that we can’t see.
There must be something there that we’re just unable to see. Otherwise Bayern and Barcelones would not both have considered signing him.
I think Arsenal fans see him as a sidegrade to Martinelli. So whilst not bad by any stretch of the imagination, we all want an upgrade.
100 million…for anthony gordon, hell even antony played better while at Real Betis, the game’s gone.
Raphinha is aging, having a replacement that can also play other attacking positions seems good.
His wages will be much lower than Rashford, and better pressing.
I trust Flick and Deco, maybe this will be similar to Diaz last year.
Bayern wanted him too https://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/may/27/barcelona-advanced-talks-signing-anthony-gordon-newcastle
Is he a diaz type workhorse? At his age it is a good investment, but beyond 70 million for him is insane really, you’re paying for someone who (at the moment) is def not a starter, will be a backup for various positions, and young. Does that say 100 million?
