Like the plant/herb for cooking with. Not a big fan personally but it gets a lot of hype that I don’t understand

Audacious, possibly visionary, what does it taste like?
Almost had to downvote this

The kind of food combination that would double the HP recovery in Earthbound
Mint is a fantastic herb to keep available to plant at all times. If you’re ever accidentally allowed unfettered access to a golf course, it’s the perfect thing to plant just outside the treeline.

Finally a use for mint I can support whole heartedly
I read half the thread before i realized this isn’t about the linux distro at all, pls send help.
Lol I pondered how I might get a joke in about the distro or mintpress news but couldn’t and gave up
Got a bunch growing in my garden I couldn’t get rid of if I wanted to
Been using it to make THC mojitos
Turns up a lot in middle eastern salads and Indian dishes. I’m generally a fan, but I find mint sauce is better than fresh mint for stuff like raita.
Also goes great on a bowl of pie n peas.A small amount is really good in Shiraz so I am not a total hater but it has to be very subtle
I fucking love mint, back when I had a mint plant I’d just grab a leaf or two whenever I passed by and munched on them
I go fuckin nuts for mint. Like I may be legitimately addicted to menthol but not from smoking. There’s something about the cooling effect and the herbiness that just hits right
Mint is my favorite flavor, bar none. I use it in salads all the time, and in any soups and curries I feel I can get away with it. I always eat a few leaves when I’m prepping it. I’ll also eat a tin of mint candies in a sitting. Any kind of mint, any time. I’ll take it all.
If you wanna explore the savory possibilities of mint try levantine and north African cuisine. So much that can be done with mint
Mint ice cream on a hot summer day is pretty good.
Oh yeah I love mint in sweets
i wish basil grew the way mint does
I think it’s great for people just getting started with flavours because it’s so familiar. And it goes great with cinnamon.
It will honestly do the job for most people, but is also a starting point for those that want to move on to more advanced flavours later
I was about to yap about Linux Mint but phew, the rest of the body let me down :(
I think it has very specific uses in terms of recipes or things to put it on because of its strong flavor. You can’t just add it to a dish to give it a bit more flavor, but it can be good when used correctly. Mojitos, some Mediterranean salads, and mint tea are things that comes to mind. Also, it pairs well with peppers or other hot flavors. Adding, a little hot sauce to something that works well with mint usually is even better, and that does include mojitos.
I think it gets play in cuban and Caribbean cuisine
I use it at work but my brain isn’t offering up any memories of “for what” r/n. It’s always like going bad when i have something that needs it
gets a lot of hype
Where? I mean aside from all the minty products, most people whine that it tastes bad and reminds them of toothpaste
Maybe I am just around strange people. Most people I know really like mint for some reason
