Reddit apparently banned Paul McCartney's account after he posted Fonda Theatre concert content to his own subreddit. The ban page is live and confirmed.

Paul McCartney’s official Reddit account seems to have been banned. The account, u/paulmccartney, had just dropped a set of photos and videos from the first night of his shows at the Fonda Theatre. It went straight into the r/PaulMcCartney subreddit. Then, not long after, the whole thing disappeared.

    Aren’t you just describing a modlog? The only annoying feature is that mod name is obscured so you have to jump a couple hoops to find who did what and whether they still are mods.

      Oh yeah. That is sort of what I was envisioning. It is not really feature complete, but a step in the right direction. Thanks for that link. At least Lemmy is trying versus Reddit that lets it fester.

          I will give you another chance. If I see a hint of faqing around or picking on users, you’re out. I rarely permaban people but give them a break, so I must have been pretty sure. Don’t make me regret this.
