They did the exact same thing they’re doing now, they’re asking the DNC friendly media to focus on Trump (not that they need encouragement) and not focus on other candidates as much, with the assumption that Trump winning the primary means an easy win for Biden. It failed in 2016 and they’re too up their own asses to realize they need a new strategy.
