I smoked for almost 30 years and then went like “ok i’m done now” and quite BOTH. Cold Turkey. No nicotine patches, no vapes, nothing. Gained 6kilograms though.

Yeah. It’s just a smaller community, that’s why we don’t get all those “I accidentally ate a 3000000g THC edible” and “does this weed look okay?” posts. We have those few growers who keep us updated, the occasional question…and mostly the rest of us are just lurking.
If there’s a interesting thread, it definitely gets enough attention. It’s sad that !StonerMemes@lemmy.beyondcombustion.net is gone, though.

 Leaving Reddit turned out not to be problematic and I have much more free time now. I just don’t have the desire to use social media much to be honest, and that’s why I don’t post. However, I do enjoy an occasional browse still and I’m grateful for some slower moving channels.
