    So let me get this straight: For the past years, the vote was postponed time and time again because the proponents of Chat Control thought they’d lose (which is already insane). And now that the vote happened and turned out against Chat Control, it can somehow be overturned? What’s the point of having a vote at all if the outcome is not binding?

    I can’t understand how this has reappeared, basically overnight, after being rejected now twice in the last 6 months. What kind of banana democracy is the EU running?

    It hasn’t even been two weeks since the initial reproposal was rejected and they’re trying again. Thanks EU, it is truly a pleasure seeing your legal system at work. Lobbyist will probably win this one. It’s been a good run.
