Fun series to watch. Columbo with a mini skirt and high heel boots. Good stuff.

It’s a good show but oftentimes she looks like a bird.
I’ve watched too much of that show and I just can’t take her seriously in this role, she is Dee, sucks but it happens when you play a part a long time.
I’ve been watching it as if Dee got her big break in Hollywood without resorting to brown/blackface. In my head Dennis is her assistant off screen and no amount of chemical peels and botox injections will get him a callback.
I’m already watching Elsbeth. I’ll pass.
Only so much time can be spent on mindless who done it shows. Time allocation is important.
Poker Face is way better.
French (original) version is good too.
nonononononoonon do not disparage columbos good name on that tripe.
dont get me wrong, i like the housewife version of psych, but the writing is weak… its over-dramatic and the lead actress just leans the wrong way into ‘quirky’ to make it work.
columbo was an entirely different beast. you knew who the murderer was as it happened in the opening credits. you were always supposed to know.
the real spiritual successor to columbo is elsbeth… shes unassuming, simple. kind. . hides behind others perceptions of them instead of constantly trying to break out of them like in HP… constantly drops the actual columbo line (just one more thing!)…
but even that show trounces the non-arcing nature of the original columbo series. you could watch them entirely our of order and it doesnt… no… shouldnt, matter.
