I thought about getting back into it, then found out they keep doing gimmick sets like Spongebob and lost interest.

I utterly detest my little pony, due to growing up with a very obsessed little sister. The day i found out they had made a MLP expansion, magic died to me. Fuck hasboro.

Best I got from my MTG days is a Mox Diamond. I have it sealed and locked away. One day my grandchild will use it to buy passage across the barren wastes occupied by cannibalistic MTG players. This boon will allow them to make it safely to the promise land.

Well that’s what I wrote all over the back of it in sharpie so they are aware of the prophecy as well.

I still have my favorite two slammers. One has OJ Simpson looking sad and says GUILTY, and one has him looking happy and says INNOCENT (or something to that effect)

Really relics of the early 90s.

I WISH. I have a TON of POGs I made with my POG-MAKER my parents bought me. I love my parents. I wonder if I still have that somewhere.

I have me POGs for sure, printed with gameboy printer when I was like nine or ten! Lots of POGs that were just me writing shit on paper, some from magazines, and some like, Pokémon cards from late in the POG game. It was a kit where you just plunk a POG back in with a sticky side, into this device. Put a piece of paper in and line it up, then press down. The machine cuts a perfect circle where you lined it up in the window and stamps it down to the sticky side of the POG. I loved it so much. I prolly made a couple hundred.

For those who don’t understand the significance of this picture, that card is old, very powerful, extremely rare, very powerful (it gets mentioned twice because that’s how powerful it is) and worth a lot of real money, like an absolute lot, like your entire family can retire kind of money

Sub-$100k amounts of money, wouldn’t push most of us to retirement here in amerikkka

but yes it’s an absurdly expensive piece of cardboard. and the funniest part is that a whole lot of them have been legit destroyed like this and worse. back in the day people would just play with these cards unsleeved on concrete sidewalks and whatever the fuck, carry them to school rubber banded together, etc. a lot of them are in hilariously rough shape.

because they used to be fucking cardboard game pieces not goddamn PSEUDO-STOCKS YOU FUCKING DORKS maddened
