Being serious, I didn’t do that. I did subtitle an obscure Vietnamese miniseries called ‘Biet Dong Saigon’ and made a trailer for it. It was about the leadup and culmination of Tet Mau Than uprising of 1968 (Tet Offensive) in Vietnam-US war, via the Biet Dong Saigon units, and Tet coincides with Lunisolar Chinese New Year.

Tet is the same thing as Lunar new year. That’s why the vietcong attacked during it, nobody was expecting it and everyone was expecting a truce. The ARVN soldiers were pissed as all their leave was cancelled.

Huh… not exactly the same, but more like CNY with Vietnamese characteristics, I know the Chinese brought it down there. Anyways lmao, yeah. An offensive during a holiday, who could’ve thunk…

Oh, I deliberately removed them as some of them were local and could have identified where I am. There ain’t many whiteys here and fewer still who do propaganda for the commies so you could probably identify me. There’s no hiding in a crowd here. We stick out like a dick on a pumpkin.

They had an art installation which was visual riddles. Already taken down though and would identify me for sure. These are the last days of the old anon internet. China already has real-name authentication for everything. It’s even illegal to send naughty messages on wechat to your sex friends.

Yup, for sure. If you can’t anonymize the riddles then that’s fine I thought they would just be fun word play or brain teasers. I think you can still send saucy messages, just not pornographic images and emojis, right?

Nope, new law. Big Brother (an AI actually) watches everything you send on wechat and has a profile on you. Even dirty texts and land you in jail now. There was a big awareness campaign a while back. They’ll have a show trial soon of an egregious offender who will get the book thrown at him and be an example for the nation.
