I think the OP is misinterpreting the intent of this propaganda piece. You’re supposed to think “Africans = animals” but also “those damn effete lazy Frenchmen completely deserve it.”

Which is ironic, because this implies these “weirdo”, “effeminate”, “useless”, and “race war losing” losers somehow beat their ass in the First World War.
Even funnier that fr*nce extensively used us during their wars (my great grandfather got blinded by mustard gas), so not only that, but they got beaten by the “uncivilized” and “caveman looking”
