According to a Saturday report in the New York Times, concern over ICE’s brutality has grown to such an extent that many Minnesota residents, including both documented immigrants and US citizens, have started wearing passports around their necks to avoid being potentially targeted.

CNN on Friday reported that ICE has been rounding up refugees living in Minnesota who were allowed to enter the US after undergoing “a rigorous, years-long vetting process,” and sending them to a facility in Texas where they are being prepared for deportation.

He’s gonna use it to defend his family in case masked men break into his house. Must be nice living with such privledge you can’t even conceive a scenario where someone is breaking into your house.

Trouble is, they’ve got backup. Does he? I’m all for defending yourself, but surely shooting one or two of them will only result in the full horde descending on him. You’re gonna need a critical mass of people to stand up to these thugs. A well regulated militia, if you will.

There’s the big picture of massed armies, but much of the Civil War will be small groups marauding around, going house to house, setting up checkpoints, taking over small towns and even cities, etc.

Those kinds of scenarios don’t include back-up. If a person can defend themselves and their family against those sorts of threats, you can confiscate their weapons, ammo, and gear, and become stronger.
