But those that post about such news usually are on platforms that, likely unbeknown to them, have RSS feeds either natively or by bridges.
Ironically, the subreddits I still lurk, including the one I saw the post on, I do so thanks to RSS feeds, since Old Reddit still has it.

RSS is the old reliable way to get updates. Most people these days only know how to scroll through individual app feeds curated by algorithms.
