    Shoulda checked what’s happened to members of the U.S. military when they’re retired from war crimes. Since literally the revolutionary war.

    There’s a great paragraph during the forward for the book ‘Tunnels of Cu-Chi’lol explaining how much easier it was to even locate first hand accounts from the Vietnamese freedom fighter veterans from the war than the American draftees. After the Vietnamese victory, the fighters were taken care of and hailed as heroes. Because they were. The draftees from the U.S. were difficult to find.
