      Yeah like shitty that they did that but at least they can recognize their mistake and dissuade future generations from making the same one.

      It won’t bring back the dead but can help avoid more of them.

        Unfortunately, they are not. “Doing nothing” in this case is sarcastic, because Trump said NATO does nothing for the US. All the i-love-killing-people from non-US NATO countries didn’t like that.

        It turned out that there were a handful of people who had been in one branch or another of the US military in my own family and not a single one really talked about it in any detail. (I never asked any questions so… that’s on me) And I wonder to this day if I would have enlisted had anybody just casually, over the course of my childhood, found a way to mention how being in the military wasn’t all that great one a good day and crimes against humanity on a bad day.
