I am begging you to read this essay. The average person is not “DAE le sheeple” and misanthropy is not a usable basis for leftism. Being marginalized can produce a breakdown in empathy for members of more mainstream groups, but you must not forget that they are all real humans with internalities just like you have, whether you understand how that could produce their behavior or not.

One thing I never understood about these people is that they’re somehow completely unaware that their belief system’s logical endpoint is either fascism where they (women) end up as second class citizens, or a Christian Theocracy where they end up as second class citizens.

i can’t remember what exactly i was reading about the other day, but the general topic of partisan activity in eastern/central europe during Generalplan Ost. what occurred to me was just how absolutely stupid and shortsighted the reactionary “nationalists” were in allying themselves with the nazis. the nazis were there to literally exterminate everyone and make way for settlement, but everywhere they went, a minority of absolute shitheads would pop up and offer assistance. poles eager to kill jews, ukrainians eager to kill poles, and on and on across every nationality and ethnic group, all of them somehow convinced that their ethnic group would be spared in the grand plan for mass extermination.
i can’t grasp the unique blend of opportunism and stupidity that tries to triangulate like this, because it is so obviously a tactic to divide and conquer.
