I have absolutely no idea how themed icons work on Android. Was it working before?

No idea. I just received an update a few days ago to GrapheneOS and noticed that there’s a switch in Settings -> Wallpaper & Style -> Icons -> Themed Icons (Beta) and I just turned it on and all of them changed except Blorp XD (I’m also on dark mode).

No idea what changed on how it works in the background, sorry XD

Apple does started doing this earlier this year. They generate these monochromatic icons automatically, but it would fail for random icons on iOS. It’s gotten a lot better with updates. I would see what it looks like when it’s no longer marked as a beta feature on your phone.

I did notice on iOS, it doesn’t look very good. Maybe that’s why it’s failing on your phone.

Oh man I love the way that looks! Pixelated and stuff <3

Thanks for the replies, my guy! :)

I used that setting before, In don’t think it’s brand new, I used it a few months ago, just briefly. There were a couple apps that didn’t theme for me, can’t remember which ones. Most did.
