Ah, those were what we used to use as the jail when playing tag when we were kids. If you got tagged you’d go sit/have to stay touching that until someone else could try to free you without getting caught.
I can still feel how it vibrates/hums without having to be near one.
That’s the kid’s play table, bench, and home base for hide and seek.
I use them to sit on when I need to get something out of my shoe on a walk.
