Editing to delete all of this. I am getting real threats again, and I am not willing to have a complete mental collapse over fucking Lemmy for a 2nd time. Fuck this place. And especially fuck all of the transpose assholes bent on making my life hell. I am deleting my accounts permanently, but will leave the content up. Don’t worry, you won’t need to kill or doxx me, I intend to take care of the former myself.

This is just a partial list of this POS’s ban and block evasion tactics. Every two to three days, this asshole forces an instance to federate out, wasting their resources, and doesn’t give a shit who has banned or tried to block them. Then a large number from every one of these account is very heavily upvoted. Oh, that isn’t suspicious at all, especially when over 90% of what this fuckwqd posts is the laziest kind of repost (just blatantly ripped from .ml in a likely automated way similar to the the account creation likely is since they will make accounts on instances less than a day old).

I am fucking tired of this shitty, bad faith action and this is proof that it is high time that an instance needs the ability to straight up perma ban a username from any instance. I am aware that PieFed has this feature and right now it seems like something so incredibly basic. One person has the power to make all of Lemmy effectively useless, and it needs to stop being that way immediately.

    I have educated myself.

    1. He is claiming the accounts so that no one else impersonates him
    2. This is a rant and the fact it’s overblown is hilarious, people are more mad about cm0002 being potentially criticized than cm0002 himself, is this the spectre of communism?
    3. The general consensus is that ‘this is good, actually’ because they’re simultaneously mad at .ml and afraid of .ml backlash on a public, open source software
    4. Other viewpoints hold a position where either this is causing redditification (correct) or that cm0002 is doing this for a senseless crusade against authoritarianism which isn’t even there (also correct though you will be put on a stake for saying this everywhere outside here)
    5. It was never actually explained why cm0002 posts on them anyway because all he said was that he likes to view algorithms from those instances, why post from so many accounts?
    6. cm0002 is very unapologetic and very smug, just like a Redditor, not because I want to insult him but because it’s a very apt description to how he behaves currently

    ::: rant All this reminds me of is that there is no overton window for foreign policy, these people are hunting a spectre that doesn’t even exist, this being done, according to cm0002, to rescue Lemmy from irreverence or being called tankie or pro-russia is absurd, obviously I don’t want a reddified Lemmy but if that’s what they want then what can I do? Hexbear is insular, we won’t be affected, but watching from the distance is frustrating, not that I am volunteering to venture into there, I rather not, but the utter disconnect from what .ml actually serves and discusses vs. what they think it does is utter madness, it’s just there! They’re your neighbours! You were fine with them a year ago, why not just ask questions? Who am I kidding they obviously know what they’re doing. :::
