I just realized tonight that after having my CPAP for 5 years, the chronic shoulder pain I’ve lived with since I was a child is gone. My shoulder pain came from sleeping on my arms at night, to the point that they would lose circulation and feeling. Sometimes I even tore my shoulder trying to turn over when is lost feeling in my arms. I thought everyone must sleep like that and didn’t realize I had sleep apnea and I was using my arms to help prop myself up. Now with my CPAP I can comfortably sleep on my back, and it has been years since I’ve had shoulder pain.

I highly recommend a CPAP for all around good health!

I’ve been considering going to a sleep clinic. But a part of me is thinking of just buying a CPAP and seeing if it helps. Cheaper and I don’t have to go anywhere.

Thanks. I’ve a feeling my problem is intermittent, so I’m guessing there’s a chance they could miss whatever the issue is. I see machines fro €100-600 so there seems to be affordable options.
