we have ten million videos of white karens acting a million times worse on airplanes but the crackers leaving these comments dont think those videos reflect them. somehow one black woman reflects all black people

    • The passenger should have waited in her row for the people behind her to deplane, then exited when her daughter came forward.
    • The flight attendant was trying to explain this
    • The other passengers who were yelling at her were antagonizing and injecting themselves into the situation
    • The redditors commenting were clearly looking for the tiniest scintilla of an excuse to voice their racism

        Yeah airline passengers get herded like cattle, families get split up in seating if they booked at different times or just didn’t get first-come-first-serve seating, it is frustrating and confusing and that’s why I empathize with the woman who’s the subject of the video. OP says it was an adult child traveling with them, I couldn’t find the context in the original reddit post or from rewatching the video. I’ll edit my comment to include a link to the thread.

        Obviously I can’t tell how long this was going on before the clip started but it really feels to me like the 1 or 2 white passengers yelling at her and making personal attacks were really trying to make themselves main characters in this, which is exactly what the reddit piggies were accusing the black passenger of. The woman is just a justifiably frustrated passenger who was mildly inconveniencing others and needed to be treated with a little bit of grace, and from my perspective she only started acting out when she was antagonized.

          It’s intentional to make you pay more. Last time we flew check in gave us options to pick our seats, and amazing the only ones together required upgrades. Not for better quality seating but for priority seating…
