The han chinese are welcome to stop committing genocide, cultural and otherwise, any time they like. Though I acknowledge it’s their government and not all of them as a whole. Strictly speaking.
And if it isn’t racist to criticize Americans for doing similar things, it isn’t racist to point out when China does it.
Well, I mean, if you ignore all the people whose loved ones are being withheld and imprisoned. Sure, there’s no evidence. But you would have to be a really dishonest hypocritical person to do that. Especially since the Chinese government themselves doesn’t deny that they are.
It’s literally what they’re doing. They even have a name for it that they use proudly. Called the one China policy. It’s whole goal is to eradicate divergent culture and groups. At home and aspirationally, imperialisticly in the country of Taiwan. Do better.
It’s cultural appropriation at worst. It’s absurd to call that racism and belittles what racism actually is. But racism is always the first go-to of those who cannot defend their views.
It would be like calling anyone who caricatures or uses the trope of the loud mouth, ignorant, 6 gun-toating, ten-gallon hat, wearing American as racist. Is it confrontational or antagonistic? Absolutely. Racist? Not even. Do you want to know what is actually racist? White washing or apologizing for white supremacy or han supremacy. I support the KKK and the CCP equally. Not at all.
You’re doing worse than excusing racist speech. Similar to what Israel is doing to redefine anti-Zionism to antisemitism. Muddying the waters and making the terms meaningless. Any time, no matter the civility of the critique regarding China. Racism and sinophobia gets shouted as a blanket get out of jail free card. And as someone who has an appreciation for China’s deep cultural diversity and heritage. A love of the distinctly Chinese Hong Kong cinema and many of it’s actors, producers and directors. 9 times out of 10 the accusation is often outright DARVO if not hyperbolic.
I agree their post was antagonistic and designed to provoke. But it was no more racist than the meme it was posted under.
And? I’m an anarchist. I disagree with most of the stuff our government does. Them recognizing a policy of a similar capitalist and fascistic group doesn’t justify it to me. The American and Chinese people both need to rise up against the capitalist that seek to oppress and rule over us. Don’t be a hypocrite.

Except there’s no proof other than us sinophobic propaganda

That’s not at all what they’re doing though.
It’s entirely a racist trope to do the Chinese Proverb part.

No the user was trying to make it a Chinese proverb about breaking people like eggs. That’s the extremely racist part.
Which then has people going well acksually it’s fine to say that because it makes China look bad.
I’m not the one excusing racist speach

I see it’s my fault for being upset at the racist remarks
You mean the one China policy that the department of State also recognizes?
