For everyone interested in the future functionalities being gradually introduced to Vernissage, here is the roadmap: https://github.com/orgs/VernissageApp/projects/2. Please note that it does not include everything. In the meantime, libraries need to be updated to the latest versions, critical bugs must be fixed, and other ongoing tasks addressed. However, it provides a general outline of the plan for the coming months

🚀 A new version of #Vernissage is out!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve fixed several bugs, with a particular focus on improving how information is sent to other instances via ActivityPub. New pages for both users and admins have been added, showing what data was sent and where (only outbound traffic is visible).
In the coming weeks, our efforts will focus on further bug fixes and on introducing important moderation features, including the ability to block specific users and entire domains
Vernissage is an open-source photo-sharing platform compatible with ActivityPub, making it accessible from other Fediverse systems such as Mastodon and Pixelfed. Designed with a focus on photography, Vernissage offers features specifically tailored for photographers who wish to share their photos.
How does it compare to pixelfed?
The UI look more modern but I don’t like masonry layout and to do stuffs like Bookmark, Boost, Like you have to open the post which is so annoying you have to keep going to previous page all the time or open on new tabs all the time
Ah, it’s a little bit like Pinterest
Well, just the masonry layout . Pinterest’s whole point is the create collections of pinned images. On pixelfed and vernissages you can’t create any collection of other people posts
Curious also. I mistakenly thought it was a pixelfed frontend!
Thank for adding the missing info :3
