It’s hilarious too that they probably spent millions on him and 9/10 Americans couldn’t tell you who he is

Is he famous outside the ads? I figured he was just doing those for the last 15 years.

Also I don’t get the meme, it’s just an unedited image of him saying the line from the ad.

His name is Jürgen Klopp. Football coach.

He started working with Trivago on 2024. Prior to that, they used American actor Tim Williams.

Oh right, I never knew that. I thought it was just some random actor playing an annoying condescending wanker.

Veneers are probably the ugliest thing rich people do. I can understand if someone has really jacked up teeth, but most don’t that have them. Im a fan of natural looking teeth.

Omg never do I get so many downvotes as when I point out how unnatural a white wall of american teeth look.

To me it’s like neck rings or cranial deformation. Intellectually I understand it’s a cultural practice that must display worth to those within the culture or they wouldn’t do it. But that’s not the effect it has on me.

You know what’s funny? We put fluoride in tap water cause dentists noticed people that drink allot of well water had incredibly strong teeth, and it’s because the rocks were leeching fluoride into the water. It had the aesthetic side effect of also turning their teeth brown. So white teeth are actually a sign of weakness. Checkmate hawllywud lrbrle eeleets!!!1!

I have a prosthetic that replaces nine teeth and a significant portion of gum tissue lost due to a surgery, and I had to fight tooth (heh) and nail to get my dentist to make one where the teeth weren’t perfect. He wanted to add a veneer to one of my remaining teeth so I would have that chiclet smile. No, thank you.

It’s from a TV commercial, really annoying, with four guys sitting around a table talking about how cheap the hotel they’re at is. One guy says something like “yeah, only 300 bucks” and the others start laughing and repeating “you didn’t check trivao?”
