Been wanting to ask this question and it came back to my mind with my comment about that white therapist I had: Does anybody else hate seeing/hearing white people be self-proclaimed anti-racists? Something gives me the ick about white people affirming this supposed “anti-racist” stance by labeling themselves vocally. I even see it on HB at times.
Just do what you need to do to show it because, honestly, there are so many white people who falsely believe themselves to be anti-racist that it can never be a good look to me when a white person says that they are.
Well, it’s telling that someone claims to ‘not’ eat people, in society historically known for well - eating people - because its profitable extracting what’s left of the Global South people’s flesh.
