Sorry this is so late, I honestly thought I had made one already for this month.

I beat the final boss on in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound the other night. Great game.

Since I was apparently in the mood for punishing games, I fired up Furi. I bounced off it pretty hard when I first got it (I really suck at parrying), but I’ve beat the first fight and it’s starting to click. Very cool game.

Don’t think I noticed in Hollow Knight, but there is definitely less input lag for the Proton/Windows version of Silksong when docked.

    Pacific Drive!

The game got patched quite a few times and now it can hit a stable 30 (most of the time)(there will be dip into 25fps when things start exploding or under heavy acid rain).

Despite having to turn all graphical settings to the lowest, the sound effect and environmental eerieness still did a great job creating the atmosphere.

Overall, a drive or two on the deck feels awsome. And when you got bored, just put it to sleep and drive a real car.

Pacific drive, is it like a roguelike and a collectathon game rolled into one?

I keep trying to figure out if its for me and it seems not quite a horror game and not quite linear or open world. It seems sorta like a game that never ends with little upgrades until you run out and i might be wrong.

The story is linear, but the gameplay can be less linear if you choose to mess around.

The map is basically a large area with many “zones” interconnected. You’ll have a desired zone to go to(by story requirement or upgrade collection), and you are free to route your drive there however you like(avoiding bad weather, choose zones with gas stations…).

As for how a round end, think of extraction games. You’ve collected a lot of parts for your next run, now you get out of there via the game’s extraction mechanic (This part is most fun since the game turn the heat up), you will end up safe’n sound in the garage if you succeed. Failing a run is rare on normal difficulty, you will keep ~ 40% of your loot in a failed run.

Each run is quite lengthy, you can pause & save mid-run in game. So if you want something that can just kill time, this game will do just that.

Going through all the Mass Effect games, and nearing the end of the second game. Legendary edition runs amazingly on the deck. If you haven’t played the trilogy yet, I can highly recommend it.

Started Triangle Strategy this week. It’s an okay title from this genre but it’s a bit slow and the story scenes between the fights feel like a drag sometimes. But all in all a solid game though quite expensive, I think (or hope) I bought it on sale.

I’ve been working on getting the true ending in hollow Knight, and I’m currently trying to beat some of the DLC content. I’m get to play silksong soon

I recently picked up UFO50, and it’s fantastic. The individual game quality is far higher than it has any right to be for the number of games available.

I’m also trying to finish out some of my unfinished games before all the releases this month. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, Cloverpit, and Sonic Crossworlds all are coming near the end of the month.

Love UFO 50! On a mission to cherry it all. I’m happily halfway there. There are a few games that aren’t as successful at getting the hooks in though. What are your favorites and least favorites so far?

Of the ones I’ve played, my favorites are:

        • Bug Hunter
        • Mortol
        • Devilition
        • Camouflage
        • Warptank
        • Progy

A lot of the other games seem really good as well. Just need more time in them. And I still have 24 games I haven’t even tried yet.

Cherried all of those, except Porgy. Haven’t even dusted it off yet. I think that’ll be my next.

Bug Hunter is one of my favs. You may like Overbold next. :)

      Silksong ftw.

I had issues with my 8bitdo controllers right trigger acting stuck (would keep running). Seems like a bug with the Linux version. Changed compatability to Proton Experimental and everything runs great now.

I also had that problem (8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless)! Seems the original Hollow Knight had the same issues, I’d read it was something about outdated SDL support… The controls are messed up at random, rumble doesn’t work, and the game spontaneously develops input lag at times.

Same ! About the difficulty, it perfectly reproduces my initial Hollow Knight experience, which was my first ever metroivania so I was always lost and struggling against early bosses.

I bought the original Hollow Knight after the great reception of Silksong. Needed a game to play on my recent flight.

I have never played a platformer like this since I was a child and played Super Mario on the BGA. But I like it a lot!

Have you attempted modding it on the deck? I’m itching for another trilogy playthrough but have been holding off because I have a long list of mods I want to try.

Not at all. I used to be a Playstation gamer so I guess I’m not used to mods😅

My only modification is to lock it at 30fps and 5 TDP for better battery life.

No Man’s Sky, nice new update with customizable Corvette class ships, and a new expedition.

Bitcraft Online, a gathering and crafting focused survival game with only 1 server and a player driven economy. It is in early access currently.

I see Palworld is on sale, I may grab that too (currently only have it on ps5)

The Corvette update is awesome, it got me to reinstall the game. I need to spend some time in creative and figure out what I can really do with the system before I spend too much time on it in the regular modes though.
