Doesn’t that break the deadlock in his opponents favor?
Denmark has a parliament. The current caretaker coalition government lost control in June and new elections are probably going to be called on September 1.
That will lead to a new election and new parliament. He was the only member of his party with a seat in parliament. He’s probably looking to run again and maybe pick up a seat for his party.
