I honestly believe airlines are designed to push us to the limit of what we can stand without going ballistic. Since people can handle varying levels of bullshit thats why we see people flipping out all the time.
But their goal is to push so far that most people almost flip out, but dont.
Well yeah ofc they are. They make the seats too small so you pay for the premium. They make the food too shitty so you pay for the premium. They add too many stops to the flight so you pay for the premium. They make the carry-on requirements too small so you pay for the premium. And on and on and on
It’s all about profit. Any system focused on profit will eventually (and always) remove any and all human elements as allowed for the sake of that profit

Idk man I travel for a living and American sure is trying their darnedest to be worse. Given a choice I’d rather be on united than aa these days. Delta can kiss both sides of my ass.

I tried to buy a drink on a united flight once, and the poor guy had to tell me the only way I could pay for it was to download the united airlines app via the in-flight wifi and enter my card details there. Which I couldn’t do, so fuck me I guess.
