I have been in this position and have seen that exact expression on a Trot handing me a newsletter. That “Oh yeah, I’m a making a difference, I’m building communism by handing these out.” smirk.

RCA also managed to try to sell a complex premium home A/V setup called Dimensia.

Because progressive neurodegeneration is just what I want to think about when buying a VCR.

But there’s something in there I bet

There’s a Trot org on Taiwan and they are bravely building communism by selling magazines that do a little bit of criticizing western conservatives and their cross-strait warmongering, but most importantly, a lot of criticizing of China, which i guess is their main goal.

who needs epoch times when your lefties do it for free?

I’ve met up with the RCA guys in my area a few times. They’re mostly alright but are exactly what you’d expect

The local chapter of RCP here used to attend the weekly Palestine rallies until they got asked to leave. Typical reasons, they show up with their newspapers and signs and make the event all about themselves.

So what did they do? They started their own Palestine activist group (at the university, of course, because it’s full of impressionable young people) separate from the main local one, just to try to poach activists to join their fucking cult. Just shamelessly opportunistic and cynical.

Their one and only goal is to grow their cult. They don’t do any community organising and only show up to events to get recruits. They criticise everyone and everything except themselves.
