In fairness, this scenario actually removes opportunities for her and her cronies to take backhander payments at a state level to pass ai legislation etc…

I reckon she’s just pissed that her palms won’t be greased more than anything.

“Full transparency, I did not know about this section on pages 278-279 of the OBBB that strips states of the right to make laws or regulate AI for 10 years,” she said. “I am adamantly OPPOSED to this and it is a violation of state rights and I would have voted NO if I had known this was in there.”

Man, I wish all those bills were presented piecemeal and would have to be voted on separately. Jamming half a legislature worth of laws in a single bill is always a recipe for disaster.

This is like watching the movie instead of the book and being surprised you got a bad grade on the essay. You literally failed at the only thing you were supposed to do. If I put as much effort into my job as they do I’d have been fired months ago.

Either that or they are just not happy with the backlash and are using this as a scapegoat. Like playing the idiot when you get caught with cigarettes by your parents. “Those aren’t mine I have no idea how those got there! I swear I have no idea where those came from and I don’t even know what they are for.”
