I have a Mitsubishi Electric “MSZ-GL06NA”.
The vanes seem to not move at all, regardless of any position.
The vane motor makes no noise either that I can hear.
Mitsubishi Electric doesn’t provide on the phone help for end users.
And the internet is full of SEO spam.
I tried:
- Cutting the power for 1 minute.
- Setting vane to open / close and doing #1
Is there an external reset button perhaps, what else should I do for troubleshooting?
Edit 1: Solution found! Steps:
- Turn breaker off
- Remove front panel
- Remove Motor
- Twist motor to extremes then back to “closed”
- Remove motor wires and reseating
- Putt all back together
- Turn breaker back on. https://lemmy.ml/comment/18994396

Thank you for the warning, I ensured the breaker was flipped.
Breakers can be faulty, so if you have a multimeter, test to be sure. Also, the live wires are right near the front, so cover them with tape and still treat it as if its live and be careful.
On mine (similar model, likely only cosmetically different), the live terminals are 3x screw terminals, and they are right next to the screw terminal to remove the last cover, so very easy to slip onto them.
Edit: I see you fixed it, all good :)
