I’m liking the story, but it feels like things are being knocked down as soon as they’re set up. I can’t help but wonder if this was supposed to have a longer run that got nixed.

You know this episode I was surprised we turned a pilot into tang for trying to stop someone from piloting a Gundam instead of having to emotionally blackmail a pilot into piloting the Gundam. Real inversion of expectations for the genre
