People in the Midwest that have the tornado sirens, I’m sure they can leverage those for this purpose. I don’t think there are any “nuclear war warning” sirens in my area.

I mean, chances are the nukes will be flying across time zones, so gonna be hard to honor that request for both sides…

US is certainly the one which is most probable to push the button, so the rest of the world is gonna be hit in really uncomfortable hours since US Washington time is second worst there is only better than US west coast.

I’m just hoping the oligarchs in the US will decide they’d rather rule over a diminished empire than live the rest of their days out in bunkers like rats.

Same, however i would never previously had expect to hope haute bourgeoisie would be the most reasonable ones, since apparently the US civil religion fried the brains of everyone else with power out there.

But yeah, USA, due to geographic location. resources and population would always remain in control of North America and significant pull in the rest of the world. Unless of course they fuck it up really bad and kick themselves down into century of humiliation of their own making.

Nuclear armageddon almost never seems to happen at night in movies and TV shows. It’s always during the daylight.

The only exception I can think of is Threads, where the missiles start flying when it’s like 3 in the morning in Washington DC, and even that happens off screen.
