Question is in the title. For example, let’s pretend that https://lemmy.ml/c/wow hasn’t yet been accessed from Fedia. What buttons do I need to click from Fedia, to get access to read and post from within Fedia?
In other words, I don’t want to have to make an account over there, as that would defeat the point.

Do a search for magazine@instance, it’ll show one result “created by jerry”
ahh perfect, that answers my question.
to be clear to anyone else reading, you need to use the searchbar that is next to the “add new link” buttons at the top right, and not the magazine search itself.
Thank you both, was having the same problem! I had the right search syntax (had tried a few variations), but was searching via the Magazines search.
