Funnily enough, I’d say there is a disparity between good content (there already is a lot of that, especially for FOSS and hobbyist content) and engagement - where there is a lack of engagement with said content. From what I’ve seen, there’s quite some creators publishing on PeerTube by now - sometimes even as their main or even only platform - that basically get no comments, likes and just eyes watching in general.
I guess it has something to do with us not having a functioning mobile app from which you can use your one peertube or mastodon account to engage with videos on any other instance. Hopefully this will change now.
