I completely agree with the post but I would be very careful with language like “trickery” when talking about Jewish people because that shit does become coded antisemitism real quick

Noted. Thanks for pointing it out, I would be much more considerate in the future.

All good and it IS the correct word to describe the bullshit the US and such are pulling. Just a good thing to know about lol

The worst part about discussing this subject is the subtlety. So many people what to remove all the nuance from the conversation so they can justify violence and erasure of innocent people. All they have to do is ignore nuanced critique and shout louder, and the zone is flooded with shit.

Innuendo Studios, the YouTube channel that put out “the alt-right playbook,” has a really good video called “you can’t get snakes from chicken eggs.” The core thesis is that the truth can only be reduced so much before it stops being the truth. So bad faith actors will weaponize any attempt to introduce nuance against you to say you are over complicating things. Conversely, if something is false, it can be infinitely reduced because there is no truth to be had. They can simplify and simplify and simplify until it becomes basically a truism and to disagree with them sounds ridiculous.

It’s an asymmetric battle that’s for sure
