The accusations against MEE come from Saudi Arabia and the UAE who don’t like people talking about their atrocities in English languaged media, especially as they try to influence the Muslim communities in Western countries like the UK with funding for Salafism and the like.

Yeah this source is almost certainly a middle eastern state’s propaganda channel likely Saudi Arabia or Qatar.
The fact is we have no idea who owns Middle East Eye and that is critical in determining what bias they do have.
Also that you think that it is likely Saudi Arabia or Qatar shows that you neither now much about the politics in the region, nor do you know much about the topics covered by MEE.
It is like claiming some channel would be either propaganda from Taiwan or China, or either Russia or Ukraine…
The contrast between their coverage of Gaza and their embrace of russian imperialism (with the typical "I oppose the invasion but … NATO, Nazis, bla bla) makes it difficult for me to take them seriously.
