AFAIK, it’s just shitty behavior towards the person he claimed was his best friend and band mate, Kyle Gass. KG made a joke about assassinating Trump, and JB disowned his ass publicly without even talking to him beforehand.
Idk if he’s other flavors of shitty, other than standard Hollywood asshole, but throwing the person you’ve been working with for decades under the bus like that is pretty bad.
