    Wait, aren’t you supposed to drain it to 0%, and then charge to 100%?

    Charging it before then trains the battery to hold less charge over time.

      That is how old NiCd batteries from the 2000s worked.

      Lithium is the opposite, it doesn’t like to be at 100% for long periods of time and it likes being at 0% even less.

      you’re supposed to never let a lithium battery go below 10 or above 90, because that damages the battery
