Why do the mods here bann and remove posts about piracy, the guy literally posted how to get doom for free and you removed him and banned him wtf do you want people to post here ?

    The point being that if we all just post links left and right noone knows if its credible or not, often people just post garbage, instead why not post how you get the file instead of posting a link.

    Explain them how to find said repacker/cracker/ripper. When someone asks me for a game i usually say, check fitgirl/prowlar/jackett/bitmagnet (Insert X piracy site here). On rare occasions i sent them a magnet straight away but usually only people i know. If you were completely new to piracy and clicked on a link here that almost certainly contained malware with the only creds being the op saying(trust me bro)

    Then i fully understand why they would not want something like that here. This is a place for discussion around piracy not your latest piratebay alternative :/

      THE GAME is not cracked you can’t get doom on Fitgirl, Dodi or whatever are you just stupid or what. So what your saying is you just bann every link just in case it might be malware what stupidity what the fuck would the point in lemmy being a link aggregator if that was the case how the hell would you know what any link is that anyone posts. So great one Batman don’t do any research don’t look into it just bann the post and the user, this platform is known for mod abuse and god like complexes it defeats the purpose and makes it actually very centralized, centralized to the mods who decide what is posted and what isn’t and most the time they don’t have a clue what is legit and what isn’t, clearly
