Well I’m on my way to some work courses in Murarrie. Even though I got up 90 minutes later than usual I still feel damn tired. Anyway, it’s a good change from actual work.

It’s been a bit of a study period actually. On Friday I did an online induction for a site for three and a half hours. Then at the weekend I did my online Homeowners Building Course. I must say it’s nice to have got that out of the way. And now three days of classroom ahead. Unsure if my tired old brain can absorb too much more.

Y’know in this day and age of online form filling and all manner of things, it’s annoying that to get my actual licence from the QBCC I have to actually fill in paper forms. I need a JP to sign my driver’s licence copy. The online title search that I did needs to be printed out and attached. There’s something else but I can’t remember just now. ( Oh the cert of the course that I just did ) Like WTF. Oh but if I don’t want to bother getting a JP involved I can go into the office. They conveniently have one office in West End and one in Robina. So convenient for a person that lives an hour away from the CBD.

Honestly get with the times. We have digital ID and digital signatures. Other places simply require my driver’s licence number and away we go. The other info is digital and could simply be an attachment online. Bloody QBCC. Well there’s my rant for the morning. Thanks for reading ( if you did )

Oh the weather is clearing up at long last.
