Based on Wiki it received the most 12 points from the viewers (12-13 countries). If it was not for the Jury they would come 1st place. I bet they spend a lot of money for this propaganda.

It’s possible to vote for Israel, but not against them.

If you are pro Israel there are many people advising you to vote for them. even if you don’t watch.

It’s also possible to vote multiple times.

On top of this, I’m vehemently against Israel being involved in the competitions while actively engaged in a genocide. So I boycotted, which also amplifies any oro Israel voting.

Better to remove them from the competition as it’s become toxic to keep them in.

Tbh i still don’t get it why votes of 5 so called “music experts” per nation are equally important to votes of hundreds of thousands of people.

Voting already shows how different the perception is from both sides

Just to be clear, i’m not here into Israel-Palestine topic. My opinion about the system is unchanged since the very first voting, where the results were showed separately (when Poland got second to last number of points from jury’s and then got third best voting score from public)

        Tap for spoiler

I’m from Poland. I cri everytim

As in the late 90s and early 2000s the quality of the performances declined, the juries were introduced to ensure the “quality” of the songs has a strong influence and not just the most funny performance.

Because the voting of the public is 30% about the song and 70% other reasons. It must be a really good song to make you vote for it, and since you can multi vote you gonna cheat anyway.

I didnt want to watch Eurovision ever, because i knew from the 1st moment this is a stupid show that has little to do with music, but my ex made me to. The difference between Jury and public for Israel supports my theory.

Doesn’t help that it’s easy to do extra voting and Israel is known for cyber operations.

Considering that it’s an sms system is probably extremely easy for them to spoof in some extra vites with a small million euros to tip it in their favor when it comes to the audience vote.

It’s not like there’s transparency in the voting system, either. You could just change FinalScores.txt and bam, 2nd place for this year’s whinging power ballad.
