Xmas 1997. We got a Nintendo 64 and 3 controllers. Me and my 2 brothers finally playing Mario kart 3 player instead of winner-stops-on, and playing goldeneye. Then massive massive dinner.

But it would be the day I met my wife in person.
It was about as perfect as I could have hoped for. And it worked out, obviously.

Good food, we had pancakes for our reception. Good company, has friends from half a dozen countries visit for it. Just a fun time all around. No standing on ceremony for us.
