Finally it’s our turn to play dumb and go “Naah, I don’t believe he meant it this way, we can never know for sure, can’t read his thoughts …”

    Childishness and untruthful. 🙄

    https://restaurant.eatapp.co/blog/what-does-86-mean-in-a-restaurant

Imagine standing in line, craving the seasonal panzanella salad, only to hear the dreaded words: “86 the special.” Whether you’ve dined out or worked in a restaurant, chances are you’ve encountered the term “86” shouted from the kitchen, signaling a dish is no longer available. If you’ve worked in hospitality, as a chef, line cook, or part of the front-of-house team, you’ve probably even used it yourself. “86” is a term every restaurant worker, guest, and owner should know. Its origins may be a bit mysterious, but it’s long been a staple in the restaurant, bar, and hospitality world. What does the restaurant industry’s 86 mean? In the restaurant world, “eighty-six” or “86” means taking an item off the menu because it’s no longer available. This can happen for several reasons, maybe the kitchen ran out of key ingredients or the item has spoiled. For example, the herbs needed for the spring rolls might have wilted, or a bottle of Zinfandel from the wine list could have oxidized. Running out of ingredients is the most common reason something gets 86’d. It’s also possible that the necessary prep work for a dish wasn’t completed earlier in the day, making it impossible to serve. Regardless of the reason, “86” is a quick and effective way to communicate that a menu item is off the table.

It’s also been co-opted a bit to mean “to remove an unwanted patron.”

It’s never meant as a call to violence.

      https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/86_(term)

“Military personnel might use “86” to refer to scrapping equipment (e.g., “That old radio got 86’d”) or ending a plan or mission (e.g., “The op was 86’d due to bad weather”). It’s not an official term in military doctrine or manuals, but it’s part of the informal jargon and culture of soldiers, sailors, and airmen due to its common and frequent use, and is a concept military members are assumed to understand, although it originates in broader civilian language.”

      https://www.merriam-webster.com/wordplay/eighty-six-meaning-origin

Eighty-six is slang meaning “to throw out,” “to get rid of,” or “to refuse service to.” It comes from 1930s soda-counter slang meaning that an item was sold out. There is varying anecdotal evidence about why the term eighty-six was used, but the most common theory is that it is rhyming slang for nix.https://www.merriam-webster.com/wordplay/eighty-six-meaning-origin

Words can change meanings. Language is fluid.

I don’t know what the explanation will be, but the “get rid of” definition usage will be hard to argue against, and that’s what it seems to man here.

Personally I hope his “execution” will be public and well-evidenced so I can bask in the happiness for years to come. None of this “his body got dropped in the ocean” crap or whatever it was they said about Osama.

It will probably be a while before I can do so easily, as we’ll have to deal with the aftermath for a while. But hopefully we can undo all his bs relatively quickly, and then we can celebrate properly.

I wanna see immediate economic growth, big specials, etc for a public acknowledgement that it is ok to celebrate the death of the wicked witch.

James comey is just another rich conservative coward trying to distance himself from the fascist coup he played an important part in enabling.
