Honestly I think they should reverse the laws preventing bankruptcy for student debt, and maybe even outright remove the existing debt, instead of paying huge sums of money to creditors, who themselves don’t need the charity on their predatory investment that was never likely to be paid off. Also digging up criminal history of someone’s family members as a barely relevant gotcha is one of the trashiest arguments I can think of, everyone in this screenshot is embarrassing themselves.
