While nemo was cool last year it seemed like people, especially the jury, voted for “Swiss neutrality” instead of actual contestants. I know the voting is often for a country rather than the entry (like neighbours voting for neighbours), but last year I felt like contestants didn’t really enjoy a voting for entries much.
I’m really pissed that Israel is part of eurovision. Them actively conducting a genocide and on top of it all using eurovision as a tool for propaganda is disgusting.
I’m horrified at what the current israeli contestant had to go through during the terrorist attack on the festival and don’t want to downplay her experience and I’m sorry for her, but she is being used as a tool to make a country that is doing crimes against humanity look better.
