The Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee called for using far-right candidates “as a cudgel to move the more established candidates further to the right.” Clinton’s camp insisted that Trump and other extremists should be “elevated” to “leaders of the pack” and media outlets should be told to “take them seriously.”

She may not be playing now, but I feel it’s fair to point out that Hillary has played some stupid games - the American people reap the stupid prize.

The Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee called for using far-right candidates “as a cudgel to move the more established candidates further to the right.”

It’s important to note that this also applied to Democratic candidates. With the Republicans moving 100 miles to the Right, Democrats didn’t think anyone would notice them moving 20 miles to the Right. Clinton and the DNC are just as responsible for the Overton window shift as the Republicans are. If not more so. Had they embraced and supported people like Sanders, who would have absolutely demolished Trump, we wouldn’t be in this fucking mess.

Hillary was targeted by at least as much politically motivated investigations into her affairs as Trump got, and they all ended up going nowhere, whereas Trump got convicted of 37 felonies. But that doesn’t seem to stop MAGAts rushing to post “crooked Hillary” and make suspiciously vaguely worded accusations every time the opportunity arises.

Notice how they never actually go into detail, because doing so would then require them to show evidence, so it’s only ever “she was bought by the corporations” and “she knows all about corruption”.

How about this for evidence? Taken from M1ch431 elsewhere in this thread

The original source is a verified, leaked email (dated April 23, 2015) from her 2016 campaign. The DNC plan was attached in the email and can be found here. The specific quote is from Salon.

Out of everybody out there, Hillary “I got a half a million dollars from Goldman Sachs for spending a few hours giving a speech to some traders” Clinton is maybe not the best person to talk about this.

Then again, she does have the benefit of hands on experience on this.

I read it in, if I’m not mistaken The Guardian, way back when she was starting her campaign for President.

Others are quoting a broader pattern of receiving money for speeches from her, so those are probably more well informed than my vague recollection.

        Corruption is fucking corruption.

Calling whataboutism and not cleaning your own house is precisely what leads to loss of trust and directly led to the first term of Trump. EDIT: Along with explicitly and blatantly breaking their own rules to give the primary to Hillary (This isn’t conjecture or theory. They’ve explicitly admitted this in court and justified it by saying they aren’t a public entity but a private organization and can cheat if they want. Funny how they’re a public institution when they get free federal funds, but private when applying their own rules)

Democrats being feckless cowards and refusing to prosecute Trump for emoluments violations during the first term, and then failing to prosecute Trump for fucking insurrection on day one of Bidens Administration is what led to Trump term 2.

So you think that having a slew of money coming to you while you are out of power right before an election you are expected to win means that that isn’t explicit corruption?

I have this really nice building for sale in New York that I have to sell for a really steep discount. Send me the money and we can meet up and I’ll sign it over to you. My loss is your gain.

Not my fucking guy. I don’t care about the fucking plane.

I want the democrats to stop pretending this is an episode of West Wing and play hardball. I want them to act like any of this matters. Because it actually matters.

What doesn’t do anything is finger wagging and gotya tweets. That kind of shit appeals to a insignificantly small demographic of Brunch Liberals and literally nobody else. They should be filibustering every single republican bill and denying every political appointment. Leadership should be stripping committee appointments and threatening primaries on turncoat dems. The entire party should as a singular unit be blocking everything they can. They should be aggressively promoting an alternative policy agenda with real tangible benefits for real people.

But they won’t do any of that. They’ll stand around cock-in-hand and wait for Schumer’s strategy of “give them everything they want” to payoff somehow (think trickledown) because the DNC is a corporation. They really aren’t bothered by all the disastrous shit Chump is doing because it benefits them too.

Aside from anecdotal evidence, Snopes was unable to find any proof to corroborate this claim. We know that most major food labeling requirements occurred in the decades following Capone’s 1947 death. However, aside from infant formula, there is no requirement to label expiration dates in the U.S. All such labeling is done so voluntarily by food manufacturers.

This is a post about her and her tweet. If you want to discuss the Air Force Bribe, I’m sure there are thousands of simultaneous discussions happening at various points on the internet. Perhaps even millions.
