Because of restrictions where I live, I had to get an m1 platform and decided to go with the M1A. Figured I’d shop the look and get a 1911A1, but happened upon the Rock Island Armory GI 1911 for less than 300 bucks.

Will I get a 9 mm pistol? Probably. But I learned to stop worrying and love my inner Fudd. You should too.

If liberals keep buying guns, the magas are gonna have a tactical meltdown.

    Please keep it up.

The scary thing about the magas is the training. Guntube is filled with these nuts doing combat drills and all that. That being said, push comes to shove, most of them are becoming loot drops.

I’m pretty sure that for most of them, the most use their guns see is being put in the truck on the way to get a couple cheeseburgers.

There are channels literally dedicated to being an urban guerilla, mostly based out of northwest.

I have a suspicion that after J6 they’ve been linking up and training and indoctrinating over YouTube to be activated by the regime.

        But maybe that’s just me.

M1 carbine and 1911 owner here.

You can like whatever you like.

I made my 1911 slightly more modern with an underbarrel 1913 rail. So far I’ve put a bipod on it for giggles, and a light on it for low light shooting. But it usually stays empty to fit in my favorite holster.

If I weren’t afraid of damaging something I can’t afford to get repaired, I’d strip the carbine down and do a thorough cleaning and lubrication, maybe restain the stock. It was my late grandfather’s though, so I really don’t want to damage it.

10/10, good to see people training.

heads up, the 1911a1 isn’t drop safe. be very careful about not having rounds in the chamber whenever possible.

There are mods you can do to make it dropsafe though.

happy plinking and stay safe out there!

How’s the accuracy on your m1a (is that a socom)?

I have an older mini-30 that I’d say shoots about 5 inch groups at 100 yards. I’m pleased that it’s relatively lightweight and 30 caliber but I’d like better accuracy.

I’m still learning to shoot irons indoors but I’ve been managing 2 inch groups at 20 yards using irons

I want an m1a, but they are basically banned in my state. Only the 6.5 creedmore is legal to own
