Oftentimes the hardest thing about doing the right thing is that it often requires us to give up something in order to help out someone who is doing even worse than we are
And that’s not always easy to accept, but that’s what solidarity calls for.
A regulation may not work out the way we hoped, but we can learn from the experience and shape it into something better together.
What matters is that we work together to pass legislation that helps the members of the community that are suffering the most, even if we have serious problems too.
