“Just let me pander to these fringe extremists so they stop wanting to leave my party”

Better idea. Don’t do that. Tell the fringe extremists to kick bricks, set the UCP on fire, and let the rest of us have 4 years of actual prosperity under the NDP.

That’d be nice, except that the fringe extremists ARE the party.

This is really to justify to the ‘moderate’ conservatives why she’s pandering to the extremists, and isn’t one herself. (Which is a lie.)

Moderate conservatives and far-right secessionist conservatives don’t agree on secession, but if she doesn’t do what the far-right conservatives want, she might lose political power, so she’s happy to support the people threatening to tear the country apart because it serves her personal interests.

Well you see, she doesn’t support sovereignty, and has to stop them from starting their own party, so obviously she has to give them what they want, stoke the flames, and make it easier to hold a referendum.

      It’s so simple!

May this strategy work out as well for her as it did for David Cameron in the UK.

Its the scare Quebec into allowing a pipeline. America wants a pipeline to defund Russia, and America gets what they want via manipulation of other countries political system.
